When assembling the team, we intentionally sought out individuals who not only embodied our core values, but also brought unique professional perspectives to the group. On staff we have a former standards engineer and former linemen to bring an end user’s point of view. Several staff members are distribution channel veterans from multiple disciplines including management, inside sales, outside sales, procurement, accounts payable, operations, and alliance management.

 

This gives us an instinct to understand how decisions are made in the channel. We have team members who worked for factories as well. Therefore, we can speak their language, understand their processes, finances, goals, and limitations. We even have staff who came from adjacent industries like telecom and commercial/industrial electric. We represent several principals whose products are well suited to these markets. As a result, we can help them grow in to these converging lines of business.

 

Each of these unique backgrounds are brought to the table with mutual respect and humility so that we can educate and learn from each other. By doing so, we better understand all parties involved in a sales transaction. By empathizing with the drivers of every player, we can effectively build long-term partnerships to support mutually beneficial, sustainable, and repeatable business.
